GREAT QPR
QPR stands for Quality to Price ratio. These are wines aren't well known brands and likely won't receive a review from the major wine publications like Wine Spectator. Never the less the wine is a great value relative to the price and we think it deserves your consideration.
Cabernet Franc is traditionally a Bordeaux blending grape and often found in low proportion in many red wines. For a variety of reasons most winemakers don't consider it a grape variety that can stand on it's own, described as "one dimensional" or lacking the character of Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine however has plenty of character and is as good or better than many Cabernet Sauvignons. If you've never tried a Cab Franc then this is an excellent introduction.
