Prairie Artisan Ales - Funky Gold Citra Dry-Hopped Sour Ale Beer. The orange juice promised in the aroma comes through in spades in the flavor, leading the pack on other citrus and tropical esters. Pineapple, peach, lemon and mango all make appearances in front, with the bitter peels of all of them towards the back. As the beer washes down the “funky” portion of the name comes in with some earthy spicy notes of coriander and black pepper. Body is light and dry, with a mild carb.
